About us
Built on a love for tradition and thoughtful cooking, this kitchen has been serving guests since 1993 with recipes that feel both familiar and full of character. What began with Frank Carlisle and his wife has grown into a place shaped by consistency, care, and a team that carries that legacy forward.
By 1999, Frank decided to retire, leaving Frankie's in the capable hands of Lionel Brambila. Lionel had learned from the best, working side-by-side with Frank from day one. With over 25 years of business, Frankie's Italian Kitchen continues to proudly serve Tarzana and the surrounding San Fernando Valley.
